What is a Pulse?
A Pulse is a 24-hour anonymous post. Ask a question, share a hot take, describe a situation, or run a poll. After one day it disappears automatically — no archives, no profiles, no history.
How it works
StrandSync Off the Record is a 24-hour anonymous beauty room. No profiles. No followers. Just conversations that disappear when the day is over.
24 hours, then gone
Every Pulse has a countdown. Once it expires, the card is hidden and the conversation ends. That keeps the room fresh and gives everyone permission to be honest without worrying about old posts following them around.
Reactions only
Respond with 👍, 👎 or 🔥. No threaded arguments, no quote posts, no follower counts. Reactions are simple, visible, and anonymous.
Four kinds of posts
Question, Hot Take, Situation, or Poll. Hot Takes come with Agree / Disagree voting. Polls let you add 2–4 options. Everything else is a free-form conversation starter.
Explore
Drift through a spatial grid of live Pulses. Pan around to discover cards that are not in your immediate feed. Tap any card to open it and join the conversation.
Feed
A scannable vertical view of the Daily Pulse, Trending, Hot Takes, and the Latest. Use it when you want to catch up quickly without moving the canvas.
Safety
All text is filtered for harassment and profanity. Users can report anything that crosses the line. After five reports, a Pulse is hidden. Moderators can also step in at any time.
Save your recovery code
Step Inside starts a fresh anonymous identity when you do not already have an active session. On the Me page you can create a recovery code. Save it somewhere safe — if you clear your browser, lose your session, or switch devices, the code is how you restore the same anonymous person and any active Pulses; expired Pulses are still gone.
