Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to StrandSync Off the Record.
Your public identity is a number, like Anonymous 482. It is tied to your account, not to your real name, and we never publish anything that identifies you.
That number stays the same while your account session is active. If your browser data is cleared, your session expires, or you use another browser or device, Step Inside starts a fresh anonymous identity.
A recovery code is the supported way to restore a previous anonymous identity after session loss. Save it from your Me page if you want a path back to the same number and active Pulses.
We never publish your email, profile photo, provider account data or account ID. Your account stays linked internally only so we can enforce the guidelines.
Pulses and replies are removed from the app after 24 hours. Limited records may be retained privately for a short period for moderation, abuse prevention and security.
Photos attached to a Pulse are stored only while the Pulse is live and are deleted automatically after it expires. Please don't post photos that show faces, documents or anything identifying.
We use standard infrastructure providers to host the app and database. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Anything you write in a Pulse or reply is public to other members. Don't share information you wouldn't want read by strangers.
This service is not intended for anyone under 18.
